The Retreat is externally clad with vertical semi-circular profile pressure treated timber. This cladding provides an outer weatherproof  layer; and is fixed to a counter batten which creates a ventilated cavity with a breathable & waterproof membrane acting as a final barrier.  Insulation is provided by 50mm of Jablite infill or 100mm fibreglass .
