This Office is in mid-construction with softwood roof batten and pressure treated horizontal shiplap timber  clearly visible.  This shiplap cladding provides an outer weatherproof  layer; a counter batten and cavity layer with a breathable & waterproof membrane act as a waterproof layer.  Insulation is provided by 100mm of fibreglass or 50mm of Jablite infill then finished with T&G pine board or plasterboard.
